About me

An award-winning television producer, Mary Raffalli has spent her career working for two of the top networks in the business. As a producer for ABC News, Ms. Raffalli wrote and produced numerous segments for the long-running television newsmagazine 20/20. In her time working on 20/20, Mary Raffalli had the opportunity to collaborate with such correspondents as Charles Gibson, Chris Wallace, Elizabeth Vargas, and Tom Jarriel. Ms. Raffalli also worked as a producer on Peter Jennings Reporting, a small documentary unit that presented several documentaries and specials each year. She also produced segments of primetime network specials that Mr. Jennings anchored, including "The Catholic Church in Crisis" and "In Search of America: A July 4th Celebration." In the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Mary Raffalli contributed to CBS Evening News by researching and producing segments for "Eye on America Investigates," a program hosted by Dan Rather. She also produced an award-winning piece for CBS Reports. Mary Raffalli currently serves as a producer on CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood, a newsmagazine that has run continuously on the network since January 1979. As a producer, Ms. Raffalli conceives, develops, writes, and produces magazine-length feature stories that delve into a wide variety of subjects. Mary Raffalli has won numerous awards for her work on the program, including the 2005 American Women in Radio and Television’s Gracie Award for "Our Mothers' War;" the 2008 Annual News and Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Feature Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast for "Try to Remember;" the 2009 Annual News and Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Continuing Coverage of a News Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast for "The Fallen;" and the 2010 Silver Baton Alfred I. DuPont Award for "Children of the Recession."
