Matthias T. J. Grimme, aka Drachenmann aka Tatsu Otoko aka Ryu-Jin was born 1953 in Hamburg, Germany. After highschool he studied nursing and sozialwork, afterwords he worked about 15 years in psychiatric institutions. He worked as organizer for the german men’s movement and was a co-leader of man's groups. He published several books and stories about men and there relations to themselves. Since 1989 he is copublisher of the SM-magazine Schlagzeilen (http://www.schlagzeilen.com). Here he published many articles about BDSM. He is also wellknown for being the author of "The SM-Handbook" and "The Bondage-Handbook" (the German standard handbooks for BDSM people). He also organizes since about 15 years SM-Parties in Hamburg. He works as intimite piercer (http://www.stahl-stich.com), BDSM-performer and SM- and bondage teacher with own workshops in Hamburg and Europe. He is the owner of the online supply of Bondage Project (http://www.bondageproject.com). Since 5 years he also works as a photographer and filmer, rigger and ropeartist in japanese style (Shibari).
He lives with his wife Dana DeLuxe in Hamburg.
