UTOPIA_ Symposium on Lanzarote 2013
UTOPIA wirft exemplarisch Fragestellungen zu verschiedenen Bereichen unserer Gesellschaft auf, denen wir uns im Verlauf des Symposiums in kreativ- künstlerischen Umsetzungsprozessen nähern. Ausgangspunkt der Fragestellungen sind sowohl besondere Aspekte der Insel (die Insel als Lebensort, Atlantis, Europa, Tourismus, Nachhaltigkeit,…) als auch persönliche Aspekte (Wunschträume, Vorstellungen von idealen Orten,…), welche die teilnehmenden Künstler miteinander in den Dialog treten lassen.
Utopien zeichnen sich dadurch aus, dass die Ideen, die sich entwicken zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem sie erdacht werden, nicht oder noch nicht möglich sind.....

Starting point of the questions are special aspects of the island (the island as a life place, Atlantis, Europe, tourism, sustainability…) as well as personal aspects (dreams, images of ideal places…) which the participant artists allow to kick with each other in the dialogue.
Utopias distinguish themselves by the fact, that the ideas which are not possible to realize at the time in which they are thought up, or not yet.

Von Erlenbach Kunstschule: Portfolio preparation in Berlin
In 2005 I founded the Von Erlenbach Kunstschule (Von Erlenbach Art School) in Berlin. This art school helps young, creative and interested people to prepare their portfolio for the application at art academies. The Von Erlenbach Art School offers the full range of art and design disciplines. The courses are designed to make the artistic work more professional.
