Dr. Namita Kedia

Based in Florida, Namita Kedia, MD, teaches medical students, physician assistants, special operations medics, and residents in the field of emergency medicine. Dr. Kedia serves as an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor for Tampa General Hospital and the University of South Florida in Tampa. In addition, she is an Emergency Medicine Flight Physician at Jet I.C.U., an air ambulance company, and an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at Brandon Regional Hospital in Florida.

During her time at Jet I.C.U., Namita Kedia, MD, has flown with patients within the United States and internationally to locations such as Scotland, British Columbia, and the Caribbean. Dr. Kedia occasionally serves as Acting Medical Director at Tampa General Hospital for the Special Operations Command (SOCOM). 

Additionally, Namita Kedia, MD, serves as a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). Dr. Kedia completed all three portions of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and received board certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 2007. 

Namita Kedia, MD, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Furthering her education, Dr. Kedia received her Doctor of Medicine in 2001 from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. Her postgraduate training includes an internship in the Department of Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. She then completed her residency in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Jacobi and Montefiore Medical Centers.
