About me
I have considerable, successful experience in performance related telephone sales / management as well as actively travelling to face to face meetings and presenting offers and solutions. I specialise in non agressive, consultative sales team developement and management, usually starting from scratch however i have lead transformations and worked in consultative roles advising and preparing documentation including the prepartation, programme development and delivery of sales training schools and manuals.
Within PMR i sit on the management team and consdier my role as an idea generator, giving constructive well thought out concepts and solutions for enhancing client experience and acquisition not just in my team but across the company in other divisions and also for problem solving for the benefit of the company. Asides from generating ideas and solutions i also actively take on the challenge of implementing these key strategic decisions.
The main sector of my expertise lies in the form of business information (conferences, publications and consulting/research services). My main achievements:
1) Transforming PMR sales, taking on the Head of International Sales role in 2004 and not only establishing and building the team but raising our publication sales portfolio by 350% within the first 12 months and increasing sales leads to PMR services divisions so sales from my teams activities now account for over 50% of their sales, up from less than 5%, a key growth and stabilisation factor for in the company.
2) Developing the Central & Eastern Europe concept at Marcus Evans Global HQ in London, and being asked to lead sales development and training at the Kuala Lumpur and Singapore offices whilst hitting personal sales targets and looking and developing a team individuals.
3) My sabatical, i would fully recommend this experience to everyone. It gave a great perspective of live and values that can be used in any social or professional situation.
