Venture Capitalist Nick Beim has worked with technology companies for 15 years in his roles at McKinsey, Goldman Sachs and Matrix Partners. As General Partner at Matrix Partners, Nick Beim invests in early stage technology companies. With a background in finance, media, and international relations, Nick Beim invested in internet companies Care.com, TheLadders.com, Gilt Groupe, Intent Media, and Conductor, as well as as in software companies OatSystems and JBoss. Nick Beim was also a seed investor in the Navigos Group, the largest HR firm in Vietnam, as well as in Flipkey, an online vacation rental marketplace.

Prior to his role at Matrix Partners, Nick Beim served as Senior Associate for Goldman Sachs. During his tenure at Goldman, Nick Beim helped provide financial advice for various technology companies, including Red Hat and LHS Group. Nick Beim previously worked for McKinsey & Company, where he focused on the financial services and technology sectors. Earlier in his career, Nick Beim was a Media Project Officer for the United States Agency for International Development, where he helped support independent media in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

Nick Beim donates additional time on the Board of Endeavor, where he helps provide high-impact entrepreneurship opportunities within emerging market countries. Nick Beim is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
