About me
Nicolai Herrmann works as a power market consultant for enervis energy advisors GmbH. His professional interests are: investment appraisal, energy market modelling, wind energy, corporate sustainability strategies, energy scenarios and future studies.
Nicolai holds a degree as a 'Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur' (industrial engineer) from Flensburg University (Germany) where he studied Energy- and Environmental Management from 9/2001 to 5/2006. During his studies he attended an academic program at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. His practical experiences include consultancy for the conventional and renewable power sector, photovoltaic technology and project management, international and European emissions trading and technology/product development in the utility sector. In 2010 Nicolai Herrmann achieved a doctoral degree in economics (Dr. rer. pol.) from Flensburg University for his thesis "Regional Energy 2050: A sustainability-oriented strategic backcasting methodology for local utilities".
