About me

There are several ways to interact / connect with me which I have listed here:

You can contact me via Xing or directly per contact through the info above.

What I can do for you

I do consulting as well as workshops and seminars. My work is very question oriented, often followed by explaining, which is why a face to face meeting provides the best results.

Clients do get the best results from involving me at an early stage, for example to enhance and improve their business ideas or way of implementation. See me as the sparring partner - you want me to ask certain questions and not later your customers or your boss or VC.

I prefer work which combines technology with business, and due to the nature of my background and interests, corporate over small business.

What I am good at

It is my personal believe that you should always work with people who are good at what you need them to do. Which means on the flip side that you should not have people work in areas they are not good at. You want the genius, not the amateur, the one with passion and a fire in their eyes, not the one which is burdened by the task you assign them.

I love to help people understand the benefits of technology, both for business and personal development, and how to work with it.

I am good at analyzing, finding patterns and structure (or faults within them) and give feedback and ideas; based on my rich experience and knowledge around topics like Business and Technology, with a special focus on the area of Web 2.0 and Social Media.

Often heard compliments from clients are:
"Thanks! Finally I am able to understand this!" to
"Hmmm, never thought of that" or "Wow, never saw it that way".

João Duarte summarized it very nicely: "You are generous with your knowledge and our one day session had me profoundly visualize my on-line business model in a manner that I believe saved me at least one years worth of growing pains."

My background
Being a digital native for over 10 years I like to take an active part in shaping this digital life and help other people and businesses to use these tools for their purposes and goals.

I am experienced in helping others understand modern technology and improve their business / daily lives, give honest, but constructive feedback and suggestions, and have a deep knowledge of modern technologies in projects and applications such as blogs, podcasts, RSS and Second Life.

My personal publishing empire
As blog and podcast addict, I of course have a personal publishing empire of my own:

Bloxpert (http://bloxpert.com) is the place for most of my (pre) conference podcasts. The slogan for this is: we should be challenging.

Cruel to be kind (http://crueltobekind.org) is my English blog, less business, more conversational. If I have time, my private podcast is Useful Sounds (http://usefulsounds.com).

If you want to read / hear from me in German, this is the place to visit:
beissholz.de - von bissig bis garstig (http://beissholz.de)

I am also group moderator for the Global Business Women group here in Xing.
https://www.openbc.com/net/globalbusinesswomen

Myself and my podcasts / blogwork have also been featured in German television as well as national and international radio + written interviews , mainly for Podcasting and Second Life, recently for Twitter and Microblogging due to the book.

Conferences / Speaking / Advisory boards
I like to share my knowledge, which is why I am more likely to do workshops / expert tables and moderation. Also I have become a frequent advisor for organizers.
