Niels Roscher

My name is Niels Roscher and I am a Character Technical Director. Thus, my specialty is creating character rigs for animated movies and develop rigging tools mostly in Maya, 3ds Max and MEL.
In addition to that I am a Maya allrounder who has knowledge in many areas such as modeling, shading, animation, lighting, rendering and compositing.
Currently I hold the position of a Character TD in the production of "Laura's Star 2".
For the last half year I worked as a GIS supervisor (geographic information system) at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
Before that I worked as a modeling supervisor/character TD on a feature film teaser and as a character TD for the feature film "Jasper: Journey to the End of the World" at Toons 'n' Tales Filmproduktion, Berlin, Germany.

In 2007 I graduated at the University of Applied Sciences, Berlin, Germany with a degree in computer science.
