Solved/Optimized Oracle Database issues in Nokia Performance Manager worldwide, optimized performance for Oracle RDBMS PM products, implemented solutions for oracle automatic partitioning for Performance Management data. Analyzed & built backup a restore solutions with EMC Data Domain and HPE Storeonce. Generically oversaw all aspects pertaining to Oracle databases in Nokia Performance Manager products with the chief product architect.

Providing architectural and technical support to over 500 databases systems. With Managed Service Providers (HP and Atos) created an standard database solution. When needed, designed more complex Oracle systems (RAC, Exadata). Reduced the database operational costs through consolidation. Assisted NSN in several internal DBMS audits. Participated in several internal projects regarding internal cloud enablement by Nokia Siemens Networks. Provided assistance to Licensing teams in internal audits.

Automate storage configuration using scripts. Automated the software installation in Solaris & Linux. Part of a team responsible for migrating/upgrade and commissioning on RHCS for the Nokia OSS. Was a DBA for Oracle 8, 9i and 10g. Did database upgrades between product versions. Migrated software solutions (network reporting software) from HP-UX to Linux. Developed a disaster/recovery semi automated solution for Windows and Solaris using Legato Networker.

Windows and Linux system administrator: dns, mail, mailing lists, apache. Linux Security Auditing using Nessus. Part of a team developing a IS for R&D units and Education. Integration and optimization of apache, tomcat, java, APR, tomcat native libraries, (compiling/installing & optimizing) Unix/Linux/Windows. Used VMware Server for functionality testing/development/system integration. Mysql 4.0, 5.0 database installation, administrating, backups, monitoring & tuning.
