Patrick A. Widmer

Patrick A. Widmer is a Sales, Marketing and Management specialist who has a strong background in the golf industry, corporate management, finance, technology, marketing, sales and people management.
 
Up until February 2009, Patrick was Managing Director at Heidiland Mineralwater.
 
While living and traveling in Canada from 2005-2007, Patrick worked in the golf industry in British Columbia and Québec as a client services manager, business consultant, pro shop attendant and greenskeeper. Patrick also counts on an extensive expertise in F&B (service, bar, kitchen), having worked in this field in fine dining establishments in England and Switzerland during the late 80's.
 
Before shifting his career towards the hospitality, F&B and consumer goods industries in 2006, Patrick was Managing Director of Comit SA, the Geneva business unit of the Comit Group, a leading Swiss consulting firm. He was previously founder, Chairman and CEO of Valendi SA, a banking technology company that sold its activities to the Comit Group in 2003. Prior to founding Valendi, Patrick was the Marketing Manager of Odyssey Asset Management, a leading provider of Asset- & Wealth Management software.
 
Patrick has gone to Swiss High School and holds a business diploma in banking & economics as well as in Golf Club Management & Operations. Patrick fluently speaks German, French and English and has an advanced level in Italian.
