This is quite a thrill - I dreamed about working in the States at some point in my future and, as so many things we wish for strong and hard enough, it did come true and the dream became reality. That all happened in March 2000 when I accepted the offer to work for one of Chicago's most prestigues hotels - The Drake - the grand old lady on Michigan Avenue. Yup - I did it.

Meanwhile that first experience has lead of course to many many more and I can truly say that I love what I do and - most of all - where I do it! Everyday is like a vacation, like walking around in that dream that creates just the perfect surroundings for my personality and character. To everyone who has a chance to make such dream come true - stop what ever you are doing and chase after it. There simply are no regrets!!

The world of sales has a pretty tight grip around me and will probably not let me go anytime soon. Hospitality sales to be exact and in that line of work there are, as we all know, almost no limits to what industry the skills one aquires can be of use. At least that's what they told me when I started... moving to Vegas and being part of this tremendous effort to open, and successfully open, a 1 billion dollar resort has been nothing short of an honor and a thrill ride from the get go. Yes, we work a little more here in the valley, since this city truly never sleeps.
