  We at Northland are very concious about growth and are planning to cope with the future load that we will encounter to provide the best service to our customers. Therefore we have already 2 years ago implemented SAP in our company, when we only had about 70 employees. Now we are growing really fast and we get a lot of benefit from having made this decision. My role is to support these global systems and to roll out globally and support new systems that will help us grow and improve customer service.

  Set up and support the IT infrastructure for our EMEA office in conjunction with my counterparts in the HQ in California. It englobes the managing of virtual servers, web servers, firewall as well as deploying new laptops, servers, computer and desktop support. The support of the ERP system is also part of my role. This includes assisting users with their issues, solving challenges, creating reports for management and managing the database.

  At Northland Controls we manage projects for global customers. My role is to work with closely with my clients on accomplishing projects all over EMEA. This involves communicating with local service providers and local staff. The coordination between the different parties is a challenge that I enjoy. It is very rewarding to see a finished project.

Additionally, I am managing the installation and implementation process, helping the customer to analyze their current setup and work on ways how to improve their business processes and how to put them into practice using the ERP. My knowledge on databases and reporting are a huge help to provide the best service to the customer. Part of my Job are also customer trainings, classroom based or on site trainings.
