He has helped incubate a technology company in Dharamshala under the aegis of Srijan Technologies. He has also helped incubate a niche Digital Marketing company. Both investments are essentially into "thought leaders" and highly experienced and committed people in their respective spaces.
All such business investments support each other - coming together in a "Cooperatives of Businesses" model.
Rahul's long-term goal is to continue to find such thought-leaders, and enable them to startup up their own companies in their own niche areas, or even support "other upcoming Drupal companies to join the Srijan brand".
He is currently actively "seeking business partnerships" for setting up "sales and project management" offices in the Gulf/Middle-East, USA, Australia/New Zealand, and Germany.
Rahul also has a keen interest in "social businesses", and is looking for opportunities in Renewable Energy (Solar, WTE, Wind), Sustainable Agriculture (including "water conservation"), e-commerce, CDM, Rural Tourism.
Rahul is a trustee in Srijan Foundation, a non-profit working in areas of "non-formal education" among rural and urban poor; and in "regeneration of degraded forests" using seed-balls as a strategy.
