Reinhard Bertram is currently Head of IT Architecture & Security an overarching department within the IT Delivery of BWI Informationstechnik GmbH, a Public-Private-Partnership in charge of IT operations for the German military. In his former position he was
Senior Service Architect Security within BWI Informationstechnik GmbH, Head of the Global Center of Competence Security within the Siemens IT Solutions and Services devision of Siemens AG, where he covered all relevant topics of explicit and embedded information security taking advantage of his prior positions as head of the Global Portfolio and Technology Management Security and the Competence Center Security Services. Before that he managed the reorganisation of Siemens Business Services GmbH & Co. OHG (SBS) firewall services within Germany, held the post of Director Analysis with Infineon AG, where he headed a group of smartcard hacking/security experts. Prior to this he was Senior Project Manager within SBS responsible for a group of security experts covering a broad spectrum of security services. Reinhard Bertram additionally brings with him many years of experience in the field of Information Security both as a researcher and ethical hacker. Reinhard Bertram combines hands on experience on a technical level as well as knowledge on mitigating associated risks and providing solutions to today's problems. These greatly extend security to a architectural, procedural and technical level covering all aspects of enterprise IT architectures.
