When it comes to Hollywood celebrities, the general public is accustomed to seeing buff men and dangerously thin women; but some celebrities, whether due to failing careers or apathy for their wellbeing, let themselves fall out of shape. Celebrity Fit Club is a reality television show that caters to these celebrities and is one of many shows to feature Richard Hall as a producer. On every episode of Celebrity Fit Club—originally known as Fat Club in the United Kingdom—eight overweight celebrities endeavor to shed pounds for charity. The roster is divided into two teams of four, the members of which compete against the rival team to complete physical challenges and lose weight. Both teams are closely monitored by a psychologist, a nutritionist, and former U.S. Marine Harvey Walden IV, who serves as a personal trainer on the show. Prior to serving as the Executive Producer of Celebrity Fit Club, Richard Hall acted as the Supervising Producer of Nanny 911. Another show executive produced by Richard Hall is The Pickup Artist, a reality show that debuted on VH1 in 2007 and resonated with audiences during its run. For eight episodes, The Pickup Artist's contestants are schooled in the many ways to meet women. All contestants are forced to compete against each other in a series of challenges, such as picking up women in nightclubs, on a bridge during daylight hours, and other locales. One particular feat, described as "the ultimate challenge," required all participants to woo a stripper.
