Hakkımda

I have been a book publishing consultant since 1996. I help small independent publishers produce trade quality books and specialize in children's picture books.

My background includes a 20 year career at a major metropolitan newspaper, The Houston Post, and 4 years as the Managing Editor of an academic publisher at the University of Houston. I have been an independent publisher since 2000. My publishing company is Bluebonnets, Boots & Books Press and I have 3 imprints:

1. The ABC's Press -- Children's Picture B\books
2. Shining Brightly Books -- Self-Help, Metaphysical, Spiritual and New Age
3. Against the Wind -- Books with a Cause

I am also the sponsor of the ABC's Children's Picture Book Competition.

I have served on several boards during my career, and am currently on the board of directors for the Writers League of Texas. I am also on the board of a new start-up nonprofit called Operation Storytime that is funded by Target that gives children's books to children of low-income families.
