About me
Having worked at both venture-backed start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, I've scaled managed operations in 185 countries in the digital media, ecommerce, and mobile applications industries.
My geographic focus has been on Northern Europe, with in-depth knowledge and relationships in China, Korea, India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. I'm conversant in Spanish, and has a long history of business development in Latin America.
I got my start as a marketer and product innovator as the first head of marketing and product management for Motorola's iDEN product line, the 6th best selling mobile device of all time and first mobile social network ever created.
Next, I was appointed GM of international business for the consortium of GSM companies that became T-Mobile USA. The consortium spanned more than 72 countries, and I led the launch of the first international SMS Text Messaging service in America. The four companies of the consortium were acquired by Deutsche Telekom.
Soon after, I was appointed Corporate VP of Global Marketing for Reebok International, which included Greg Norman, Ralph Lauren Polo Sport/RLX, and Rockport brands. I oversaw, brand strategy, ecommerce, and corporate marketing, including hundreds of licensing and celebrity endorsement agreements. After the successful restructuring of the company, Reebok International was acquired by Adidas.
Recently, I pioneered mobile advertising as part of the founding team at Amobee Media Systems. Amobee secured agreements with Vodafone, Sprint, Rogers Canada, and Telefonica to serve ads on mobile phones in 70 countries.
Currently, I serve on the boards of several early stage companies lending my experience in building global businesses to entrepreneurial founders.
