As a grandchild of a German MdB (MP) and the son of a trade-union Chairman it was inevitable that my life would be dominated by politics from the start.
My first taste for business came during my university studies. I sold some board games to a publishing house and later became an entrepreneur founding my own publishing house. After well and truly being bitten by the business bug I opened up shops and a wholesale company for board games which I ran for about 6-7 years.
Throughout this time I never lost sight of my political roots and often intermingled politics with my businesses.
Today I have taken this further and brought public affairs consultancy to the marketplace. However not only do I consult businesses in the ‘politics way’ I also assist politicians in communication and organisation/structure management.
Over the years I have gained a vast amount of experience in creating effective organisations (both profit and non-profit), virtual companies and business co-operations. I have been self employed since 1993 taking a leading role in about 10 companies across various industries.
My interest lies in connecting businesses together enabling the creation of a common goal so they can share resources and cross boundaries (such as geography or industry sectors) that once proved restrictive.

PR & Politics
PR & Politics is my freelance service through which I pass on my knowledge about the world of politics. leadventures is a German based international umbrella association for small & medium enterprises. We have strong ties with politics and are the voice for innovative businesses.
Prominent supporters include various German MdBs (MPs) and the Bavarian State Minister Dr. Markus Söder. The umbrella association is also the coordination platform for various associations, organisations and networks supporting cooperative projects.
As chairman of leadventures I am the main contact for politicians, administrations, directorates and company CEOs.
International Science and Small and Medium Enterprise Network
Prof. Dr. Karl-Werner Jäger (Chairman of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation (iii) at the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg) and Roland Weiniger (Chairman of the SME umbrella association leadventures) began an international network between Science and Small and Medium Enterprises in December 2008.
The aim of the network is to initiate and support contacts and cooperation between scientific stakeholders from universities or extra-faculty R&D and companies from various branches and industries. Additionally the network provides fast and effective cooperation management to apply for national or international subsidies and calls for common projects and products.

The SpieleGilde (GamesGuild) is an association of games or games related companies (both board games and computer games). The association is a lobby and co-operation platform as well as a marketing channel. We also specialize in the conception, realisation and production of Serious Games.
I am an Assistant Chairman and Game Designer (I have set up and taught Game Design at a private school in Northern Germany) responsible for the Ambient Assited Living research (making use of games and games orientated design for elderly people). The Society for Political Communication and Organisational Management, G.PKOM, is an organisation providing various consultancy, concept and analytics services. We also carry out our own R&D in the political, communication and organisation fields. G.PKOM is also a networking hub capable of bringing together diverse stakeholders to an issue, agenda or project.
My main focus as chairman of the society is to manage the networking hub and to coordinate research efforts.
