BIO: 

Rolf is an Australian product innovation & web strategy professional with extensive global experience working within early-stage projects in the internet, mobile & social-web spaces. He is also an adviser to & investor in a small number of startups. Over the past 15 years, Rolf has held senior roles with primary focus areas of product innovation, product management and strategic development, while working in the US (SF Bay Area), Germany, Switzerland and Australia. Rolf recently returned to Australia and will announce his next moves shortly. 

Extended bio:

Rolf launched a beta social platform: "The Australian National Sustainability Network", 2.5 years before Facebook opened to the public. Based on this experience & strategic insights in the social web space, Rolf was invited to Europe in early 2006 for an assignment as Director of Product Management with XING (Europe’s leading professional social network). He was subsequently invited to join Swisscom Strategy & Innovation - where he helped guide early-stage innovation projects & worked as Lead: Social Web Strategy – articulating a strategic telecom industry response to Facebook. 

Rolf has spoken at conferences in the US, Australia & across Europe on technology strategy, the need for evolution in the social web & the ways such innovations can benefit society. Rolf holds a Bachelor of Business in Information Systems from the University of South Australia.
