Senior web developer specialized in front office applications development.Roy graduated from Bar Ilan University with M.Sc. in Computational Chemistry, B.Sc. in Computer Sciences and B.Sc. in Chemistry. After graduating, Roy took the opportunity to work as software developer at UBS Investment Bank, Switzerland.
At the moment, Roy is developing FX Trader Plus, which is the main FX options dealing interface for external clients. FX Trader Plus is an E-Commerce application built from client tier written in JavaScript using Sencha framework, middle tier written in Java using Spring framework and backend tier written in Java using OSGi framework.
Roy is the technical design, Scrum master and development expert on the derivatives side of FX Trader Plus front and middle tiers. He is responsible for the implementation and delivery of new requirements. This responsibility covers the full lifecycle of the releases. Roy is contributing to all of the releases of FX Trader Plus from a derivative point of view. This included the initial go live release in 2010 spring where he acted as the lead developer. During the year he has continuously improved the application through the delivery of new products and client experience enhancing features.
To name a few of the products he worked on:
- Vanilla options - Single leg, Risk Reversal, Straddle, Strangle and Spread option.
- Barrier options - Kick in / out, Knock in / out (single and double).
- Binary options.
As well as Volatilities grid product that shows implied volatilities per currency pair per tenor.
Highlights of Experiences
- Main developer on the front and back end sides of the FX Trader Plus project in the derivatives area.
- Engaging with the various stakeholders on the project in order to ensure the successful development and release of the application.
- Developing and maintaining complex applications to deliver data-driven content to Web users.
