BIOTRONIKIn this position, I was responsible for a variety of marketing, communications, and sales development functions and driving digital initiatives for the global sales & marketing organization. I helped shape the strategic headquarter direction for the global sales and marketing force. I led teams to create investment cases for new subsidiaries. I was on the IT advisory board guiding the infrastructure/CRM strategy.
The BIOTRONIK group is one of the world’s leading companies in the development, manufacture, and sales of medical devices for cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology and vascular intervention. In this position, I managed the initiative to find drug eluting stent (DES) startup and development partners. The goals were to close a significant unexpected portfolio gap, stabilize the corporate image as an innovator in the market and advance internal R&D know-how.
BIOTRONIK Vascular Intervention manufactures and distributes therapies for coronary and peripheral vascular disease including absorbable, drug eluting and bare metal stent systems as well as balloons, guidewires and catheters. In this role, I evaluated collaborations between field sales and HQ marketing to define a digital transformation strategy that would increase effectiveness. I led development of a business unit intranet that became the foundation for the company-wide internal communications platform.
The BIOTRONIK group is one of the world’s leading companies in the development, manufacture, and sales of medical devices for cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. In this position, I created and launched a program of customer innovation forums to collect feedback for product development and established a new "Open Innovation Process" for collecting and managing incoming product ideas from physicians.
