About me

Saul Meyer currently provides consulting and investment services to groups looking to access the capital markets or to structure acquisitions of new companies and infrastructure projects. Recently he has restructured balance sheets of firms looking to strengthen their positions in order to take advantage of the dislocations in the market today.
 
Saul Meyer founded a regional private equity firm in 2003, growing it into a global firm with more than $6 billion in assets under management within 5 years. He successfully partnered with and sold the firm to a top tier global bank. He was responsible for setting the investment strategies, making the investment decisions and attracting new investors. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Meyer directed the private equity division of another regional firm where he focused on understanding the needs of institutional investors targeting private equity allocations.
 
Mr. Meyer has a varied background ranging from real estate investment banking to successfully executing several start-ups in the financial services and consumer services spaces. He earned a JD and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Emory University.
