As Managing Partner of Haworth Coleman & Gerstman, LLC, attorney Scott Haworth serves a client roster that includes members of the construction, telecom, and product packaging industries, as well as manufacturers of products including heavy equipment, industrial machinery, recreational items, cosmetics, and children’s products.

Scott Haworth has been instrumental in resolving a number of complex claims, including those involving toxic tort litigation regarding environmental hazards such as asbestos, lead, and mold. Mr. Haworth’s legal practice extends to class action lawsuits and litigations that encompass more than one district, as well as commercial- and insurance-related issues. Mr. Haworth’s work has earned him a reputation as a skilled attorney. For his services on behalf of a large manufacturer of medical devices, the company named him Attorney of the Year in 2004 and 2006.

Scott Haworth is affiliated with a number of professional organizations, including the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), where he serves on the organization’s Trial Tactics and Product Liability Committees. His leadership roles extend to his membership with the Defense Research Institute (DRI), where he chairs the Specialized Litigation Group on Recreational Products, and formerly presided as Chairman of the Specialized Litigation Group on Food Law. In the past, Mr. Haworth has filled leadership positions on New York State Bar Association committees, including Vice Chairman of the Association's Product Liability Committee for the Torts, Insurance, and Compensation Law Section and Chairman of the Continuing Legal Education Committee on Product Liability.

In addition, Scott Haworth is a frequent lecturer and author on litigation topics. He has published articles in legal publications including the Syracuse Law Review and For the Defense, published by the DRI.
