I broke into the game development industry by chance, just a few years ago, landing the typical "foot in the door" job as a tester at Nintendo of Europe, where I honed lethal Mario Kart DS skills.
 
Shortly after, I got another job as QA manager at Limbic Entertainment GmbH and this progressively developed into a producer role, which is what I do nowadays. My time at Limbic was great fun and a good learning experience, as it's usually the case in small companies where everyone has to do a bit of everything.
 
I then took another role as project manager / Scrum master at 10Tacle Studios Mobile GmbH, where we started a new studio from the ground up, developing with Scrum and XP by the book. This was a great episode in my career: I got to work with an amazing team, learn the pros and cons of agile development and work on a lot of production tasks, beyond just project management.
 
I have recently taken a Development Manager / Scrum master job at EA Phenomic, where I hope to continue practicing Scrum.
