I am an enthusiast who sees his challenge in simplifying software development, loves communicating and inspires his surroundings with his unconventional ideas. I coach Agile Teams by improving their processes, communication and shortening feedback cycles. Striving for technical excellence, I teach XP practices, TDD, Clean Code, Continuous Integration (everything what considering Software Craftsmanship).

Team lead, six developers (C, C++ with boost and Qt, Python). We are developing a lenticular display for viewing stereoscopic content on laptops without the need for 3D glasses. My responsibilities range from taking care of our newest developers in all questions regarding product, environment and coding standards to defining tasks and improving communication and collaboration within the distributed team. I especially love working with the team and at the same time improving our development process.

Development of cross-layer (PHY,MAC,NET,APP) strategies to increase performance within 802.11 wireless mesh networks (primarily utilizing smart antenna systems) in the field of disaster management. As part of the WorkPackage 4 of the SAFER Project (Seismic Early Warning for Europe), we invent a distributed alarming- and information retrieval system. Made up of low cost commodity wireless routers forming a mesh sensor network, we are responsible for software and communication protocols.
