Selen İnal

Selen Inal, born in Istanbul in 1979, had her M.Sc. degree on “Energy Conversion & Management” at FH-Offenburg, Germany, in 2004 with a special focus on the design and management of power plants after graduating from B.Sc. Chemical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. She worked in Alstom Power Switzerland for a while during her studies and was awarded a research scholarship by Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (D.A.A.D.) for her master thesis as a part of the Nanoparticles and Bioparticles Project (NaBiPa) – one of the nine projects supported by the German government on this subject - developed by the FH-Offenburg and International Quality Network (IQN), which is a collaboration of different universities and institutions from all around the world in order to study and investigate in miscellaneous topics related to Nano- and Bioparticles. She turned back to Turkey afterwards. Her thesis on CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) was published as a book “Numerical Analysis of Flow-Field-Flow Fractionation” upon proposal of VDM Verlag and has offered for sale worldwide. 

She has worked in various companies on Energy, Environment and Chemical Process since 2004 and in her last position, she worked as Business Development Manager in Enprode Engineering and Consulting – a company occupied with the complete engineering and design of natural gas combined cycle power plants – and in parallel its sister company Enimeks Energy Wholesale Trading as Energy Trading and Market Development Manager for 2.5 years. 

In 2010, she started to work as freelance Business Development Consultant providing consultancy services for local and foreign energy & other companies either want to enter the market or develop their existing business, and she presently has important companies in her portfolio. In 2011, she founded OSB Consultancy Business Development Company with two friends due to the increasing business volume. In addition to that, she is the Moderator of Xing Energy Group of 2500 people and Partner and Managing Director of newly found portal EkoKariyer. Besides, she has been supporting several other businesses either as business/project developer or partner such as Alternatif Enerji, AngloINFO  Istanbul & Turkey.

1979 İstanbul doğumlu olan Selen İnal, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Kimya Mühendisliği’nden sonra Almanya’nın FH-Offenburg üniversitesinde “M.Sc. Energy Conversion & Management (ECM)” isimli ve enerji santrallerinin tasarımı ve yönetimi konulu yüksek lisansını 2004’de tamamlamıştır. Bu program çerçevesinde kısa bir süre Alstom Power İsviçre’de çalıştıktan ve Alman Hükümeti’nin International Quality Network (IQN) isimli dünya çapında üniversiteleri bilimsel çalışma amaçlı bir araya getiren bir girişimi olan ve D.A.A.D. bursu ile desteklediği 9 projeden biri olan NaBiPa – Nanoparticles and Bioparticles Project – kapsamında yüksek lisansını yazdıktan sonra Türkiye’ye geri dönmüştür. “Numerical Analysis of Flow-Field-Flow Fractionation” isimli CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)’in kullanıldığı tezi 2009’da Alman kitabevi VDM Verlag’dan gelen teklifle kitap olarak basılmış ve tüm dünyada satışa sunulmuştur. 

2004 yılından itibaren Türkiye’de Enerji, Çevre ve Kimya Proses alanında çeşitli şirketlerde çalışmış, en son olarak 2.5 sene kadar doğalgaz kombine çevrim santralleri komple mühendislik ve tasarımını yapan Enprode Mühendislik ve Danışmanlık firmasında İş Geliştirme Müdürlüğü ve eş zamanlı olarak kardeş firması Enimeks Elektrik Toptan Ticareti şirketinde, Enerji Ticareti ve Pazar Geliştirme Müdürlüğü görevini yürütmüştür. 

2010 yılı itibariyle bağımsız İş Geliştirme Danışmanı olarak çalışan Selen İnal, enerji sektörüne ve diğer sektörlere girmek isteyen veya sektörde işini geliştirmek isteyen yerli ve yabancı firmalara danışmanlık hizmeti sunmakta ve mevcut portföyünde sektörün önemli firmalarını bulundurmaktadır. 2011’de artan iş hacmi sebebiyle iki arkadaşıyla OSB Danışmanlık İş Geliştirme şirketini kurmuştur. Bunun yanısıra, 2500 kişilik XING Enerji grubunun Yöneticisi, yeni kurulan EkoKariyer portalının Ortağı ve Genel Müdürü’dür. Ayrıca, bir çok başka girişime iş/proje geliştirme ayağında ve/veya ortak olarak destek vermektedir. Bunlardan bazıları; Alternatif Enerji, AngloINFO Istanbul ve Türkiye'dir.
