About me

Welcome,

The music entertainment world knows my name as "Thenkof", this name i created in 1985 and named till 2003. Thenkof was my artist name and after my career, i have changed my industry name in "Thenkman". But friends call me just Thenk.

I started a artist career between 1989-2000 as a streetdancer, later i become background and showdancer for lokal hip hop artists and music labels. In 10 years i had over 300 european wide shows, several times in media, shows for the Backstreet Boys in 1997. Shows in London, Paris, Istanbul, Holland, also at the biggest music festivals in germany. After my dance carreer i started to teach kids in youth centers and music schools. Finaly i worked in 1999 for over 1 year at the Screamfactory - institute of performing arts a music school in frankfurt as a breakdance coach. In over 2 years i teached over 200 kids breakdancing and in the year 2000 i decide to finish my artist career.

Late in 2000 i started my own agency DefPro Entertainment, a promotion and managend company. I used to manage former pop artist Franka Morgano (Magic Affair) and 4 chart pop artists from germany. In 2001 i was manager and creator of the girl dance group "Metro Dance Project" a group with over 25 female dancers from 15 different countrys.

As a tour manager i worked in 2002 on the european tour off the US-worldmusic musician Levi Chen also for the rap artists "Torch & Toni L." in 2006. In the year 2003 i was the producer of the music documentation "Money Train & Thenkman" a german hip hop summer 2003. This was filmed at Splash music festival wich was the biggest hip hop music festival in europe. We interviewed top stars like Xavier Naidoo, Flavour Flav, Chuck D, Redman, Petey Pablo, Guru, Afrob, Sammy Deluxe etc. The documentary was showed in 2005 of the "XX.Black International Film Festival" in Berlin.

In 2004 i created the Sign 4 Life foundation, a chartity project for homeless and poor people. The first help was a christmas party in 2006 in Lima,Peru.
