Dear fellow Xing member
 
People contact me when they want results by phone, strictly Business to Business (B2B) only. They usually:
- Hate to pick up the phone to develop their business
- Have no time to pick up the phone to develop their business
- Need someone better qualified than a call centre to represent their business by phone
 
Here is a poem that explains some of their situations
 
I can’t call, I won’t call, I don’t have the time,
I’m scared of rejection, I’m sure it’s a crime
To interrupt someone when they are at work,
And ask them a question, they’ll just go berserk!
 
Where will all the new clients come from I wonder,
If I use the phone I just know that I’ll blunder
My way through the call, make a poor first impression
But if no-one does, will we beat the recession?
 
I’ve been to events and got cards and enquiries,
But how will I fit them all into my diary?
And what will I say? Can I get them to speak
About what in their business is strong or is weak?
 
And if we agree there’s a reason for meeting,
We’ll make a commitment so nothing is fleeting;
Relationships built upon service and trust,
Profit is no option here: It’s a must!
 
If nobody will use the phone in my place,
Opportunities very soon turn into waste,
For time it is money, and money talks loud,
It’s action that makes us stand out from the crowd.
 
We don’t have all the answers, don’t have all the tools,
But that doesn’t matter, we’re nobody’s fools;
The sales pipeline’s healthy, success is our witness,
We wanted the experts: We hired phoneforbusiness.
