About me
After graduating, Simon spent the next decade in R&D as a Unix Operating System specialist with a strong focus on symmetrical multi-processor kernels and Internet Protocol (IP) based communications stacks, working both for Siemens AG and AT&T Unix Labs.
In 1994, he co-founded GMRS Software GmbH. As CEO/CTO, he was responsible for the creation of a revolutionary new generation of flexible call processing technology for Mobile Telecommunications and the successful growth of the business leading to it’s acquisition by Brain Force AG in 2000.
Simon spent the next 5 years as Managing Director and Design Authority of Brain Force’s Communication Networks Division, before co-founding Roach & Stolz Software GmbH in January of 2005.
At Roach & Stolz, Simon has been instrumental in developing standardized best practice approaches to conducting software technology and IT due diligence assessments for the investor community in Europe and the USA. These have been immensely well received by VCs, private equity and strategic investors alike.
Simon is currently CTO of KEMP Technologies.
Simon speaks fluent English and German.
