I am currently working on the promotion of the Swiss Solar Technology Consortium Workshops in Zurich Switzerland this year: Solar PV technology in 2012. It is an intensive week-long workshop for technology enablers, market shakers, and global leaders , Five are scheduled for this year. Swissmango, www.swiss-mango.com, located near Zurich, Switzerland, is active in the renewable energy and sustainable technology fields, particularly through the application of solar photovoltaic. Swiss/AmericanWherever I have been I have been actively involved in my community. While in Switzerland I was a writer and later editor at “New Roots”, a quarterly newsletter for the English speaking population of Switzerland. This was an unpaid, volunteer job which I thoroughly enjoyed (1993-1996). I was also on the church council at the International Protestant Church of Zurich, chairwoman of the Christian Women's Fellowship of Zurich, and a member of the Zurich International Women's Association, American Club and American Women's Club. While in business in Houston I was a member of the Rotary Club and Chickasaw Development Foundation. I am now actively involved in my local church community.
Living and working in Switzerland for 10 years and traveling enabled me to better understand, communicate with, and work with people of different backgrounds and cultures.
