Globitel Telecom Solutions, Amman – Jordan
Telecom products Project Manager , 2006 – Present

Role: Manage and lead around twelve developers in new projects. Playing a major role in development analyzing and coordinating responses to client’s requirements. In addition of promoting IT strategy and account direction duties.

Key Achievements:
• Worked as Project manager for Telecom-based applications Design and development phase.
• Responsible for upgrades and continuous maintenance of Telecom-based applications.
• Implementation and customization for Globitel products, through connecting the interface with the databases using Microsoft .NET Technology and two database engines. Oracle 10g in case of Linux Server and SQL 2005 in case of Windows Server.

Products:

Real Time Charge

A solution for charging GPRS sessions, charging differs according to Subscriber type, and will be as following:
• Prepaid Subscribers: Charging done online, RTC keep checking subscriber credit, and if credit is over predefined safety margin; RTC reserve certain amount of money (which will be specified according to defined rules), else RTC allow subscriber to finish previously reserved credit and will disconnect GPRS session.
• Postpaid Subscribers: Charging done offline, GRTC calculate amount of money according to Subscriber usage, and CDRs will be generated and sent to Billing system.

GRTC System will consist of the following components:
• Session Manager: this is the main component in GRTC, and will be responsible of:
o Radius Server: when a new request arrive, Session Manager check subscriber type and status, if status is not ok, request rejected, else for postpaid subscribers session accepted directly, and for prepaid subscribers; session accepted or rejected according to their credit.
o Traffic Monitoring: After GPRS session opens, Session Manager keep monitoring session and charging according to subscriber usage, accumulating can be Volume based, Time based, or Event based. Charging will depend on different conditions defined by administrator; these conditions can be combination of: Source or Destination IP addresses, Source or Destination ports, certain URLs, and Protocol used.
o Query Charging Engine for Subscribers info and Rating info, and send Charging commands to IN through Charging Engine for prepaid subscribers.
o Generate Billing CDRs and other CDR or TDR data required by the system.
• Charging Engine: this component responsible of the following:
o Communicate with Rating Engine.
o Communicate with IN for prepaid subscribers.
• Rating Engine: this component will give Rating for each subscriber for each service, in case there are bundles defined for certain group of subscribers, this will be handled also by Rating Engine.
• Service Manager: responsible of:
o Monitoring other services and send alarms if problem happen.
o Check database settings changes and send any change to other Services.
o Accept provisioning data from MTC using TCP Socket.




Speech Log

The Speech Log Web client is the web-based tool and interface of Speech Log that enables to do the following

• Listen to the recorded calls
• Manage and supervise the system through the administration
• Reporting
• Maintenance and querying features.

The Web client works over Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services). This module hosts the web application that the Speech Log users log on to, from any computer in the LAN via the internet explorer, to perform different operations on the system, such as listening to recorded calls, managing user groups and accounts, modifying system settings, evaluating agents’ calls, generating reports, and others.

User access to the system’s various functionalities depends on the user’s access privileges, (i.e., user type). There are three user types defined in the system, these are: Administrator, Supervisor, and User.


Speech log allows the system administrator to manage SpeechLog users and groups, system alarms, general settings, servers, system configuration, and system status. Also to monitor incoming and outgoing of calls through the online monitoring menu, which makes it possible to listen to the calls that are taking place in real-time and displays all available channels in the system. Also generate system and personal queries, and several types of reports.


Eskadenia Software Solutions, Amman – Jordan

Internet Solutions Project Manager 2002-2006

Role: Manage and lead developers and maintenance Coordinators. My development role with “Eskadenia Software Solutions” initially continued from my role “Integrated Business Solutions” Development. However, in addition to developing new client Web sites, I began my project management experience when was charged with managing the web-based application projects of our entire current client's Web sites and applications. Also was responsible for ongoing client communications, also responsible on application problems and management of site updates and new site features and functionality.

The e-chamber system also supports a wide range of transactions and activities including membership and registration services, online payment processing through a secure payment gateway, extensive reports generation, and cashier transactions such as invoice issuing and fees collecting.
