Tarek founded his own media consultancy company, Toki Solutions in 2003 in Dubai and was the first Interactive TV enablers in this region, his middleware and interactive platform serviced 113 broadcasters in the region.
Tarek’s experience including Internet, Telecommunications, Networking & Security, e-commerce and project management (Turnkey projects), as well as working directly with customers in a consulting capacity throughout the full Project life cycle. Architecting, designing, and integrating advance solutions for the Television Broadcast, Production, and New Media industries has put him in a unique position to understand end-to-end technical and operational requirements as IT and Broadcast technologies continue to converge.
Tarek has held Territory & Product Management, technical and operational management positions throughout his career.
Tarek also has held senior management positions at companies including Advanced Tech Zentrum AG in germany next to the MENA region, Global Interactive Technology AG and Xybernaut GmbH in Germany and serviced many TV Networks, broadcasters and events in the EMEA region.
Tarek attended Schiller International University in Florida and holds a Bachelors of Business Management (B.B.A) in Computer Science & Management.
