I've specialised in B2B public relations for technology, telecoms and new media companies since 1988. Nine years ago I set up my own company, Eureka Communications, to provide pro-active, issues-driven and results-oriented PR for technology-based organisations who were fed up paying big agency fees and dealing with junior consultants. My understanding of both technology and market issues, combined with experience of how to effectively target key industry media (broadcast, national, trade, vertical and business) and industry analysts, delivers cost-effective results. This approach has been successful in raising the profiles of companies large and small, from unknown to blue chip.
Since starting Eureka Communications, I have worked on ongoing PR campaigns and special projects for Cellular Asset Management, Comptel Corporation, Equiinet (caching and content delivery devices for schools), Ericsson (infrastructure and consumer businesses), Evolved Thinking (document management and new product innovation), Hush Communications, Intec Telecom, Keekaboo.com, Millward Brown Precis, MultiLink-Spectel Group, Sopheon and Symantec.
Current clients are The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), Millward Brown (leaders in brand, media and communications research), OneSource Information Services (business information solutions) and Packet Vision, a provider of addressable adverting services over IPTV networks.
I work from my home office in Alton, Hampshire, UK. When I'm not working I can be found cycling in the Hampshire countryside, digging in my garden or enjoying a glass of red wine ! I also enjoy walking, travelling, and cooking for friends and family. I am currently learning German, growing tomatoes and thinking about writing a book.
