Thorsten Claus – freier Publizist & Autor – betreibt mit dem deutschsprachigen Online-Magazin VoIPphones.de seit mehr als fünf Jahren eines der erfolgreichsten Internet-Portale für IP-Kommunikation in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.

Als Chefredakteur von VoIPphones.de ist er u. a. Gastautor in Wirtschafts- und Fachmedien (wie FTD, Handelsblatt und n-tv) sowie Referent auf nationalen Fachkongressen (z. B. CeBIT und Call-Center-World) zum Thema
IP-Kommunikation.

Seit 2007 organisiert er den regelmäßigen VoIP-Unternehmer-Stammtisch mit mehr als 60 Anbietern und Entwicklern aus der Hauptstadtregion Berlin-Brandenburg. Die von ihm gegründete XING-Gruppe vereint heute mehr als 1.000 Interessenten zum Thema Voice over IP.
