About me

Community addicted

Ever since I got connected to the Internet (1994), I am addicted to joining and contributing to Internet communities. It's the way of interacting with people around the world, the timeliness of communication, and the openness of the many people around the world you'd otherwise never have met, that impress me ever since.

That's why I wrote my doctoral thesis about it. That's why I played EverQuest, WoW and FarmVille, and mainly enjoyed to discover the social mechanisms connected to those games. That's why I joined XING, the biggest business community in DACH as a product manager. Product brought me back to gaming, then.
