Volunteer role, Open Nederland is the association behind the Dutch Creative Commons Chapter

As a senior expert for the World Bank I assist national governments in identifying opportunities for open data in addressing development issues through assessments and formulating national open data action plans. I also provide implementation support in the form of training, community of practice building, and establishing connections with international good practice examples.

Four professionals with a long track record in open data in Europe join forces in The Green Land. We offer experience in legal, economic, analytical, research, public sector, IT, change management, community building, and knowledge management aspects of the digital disruption wave that is open data. Based in the Netherlands we work across Europe, having worked with clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Moldova, Germany, Italy, Austria, the UK, and the European Commission.

The Ambtenaar 2.0 Foundation ("Civil Servant 2.0") is the umbrella organization for a 4000+ member strong community of mainly civil servants. Focus is how under influence of internet, social media and new IT affordances government work and government work places are changing. (Gov2.0, Open Gov, Open Gov Data)

The Stichting FabLab.nl is the Dutch FabLab Foundation. We promote the FabLab concept originated by MIT's Neil Gershenfeld. Next to being treasurer my focus is on developing the (international) FabLab community, and the supporting web platforms.
