Vincent Whetstone

Vincent Whetstone is a writer, youth mentor/counselor, and community activist with extensive experience working with under privileged populations. He has written and published many articles for online publications. Vincent is founder and CEO of the Human Improvement Society, an organization that helps to meet the need of people trying to overcome social, economic, or political barriers to achieving their goals. He is also a member of the Concerned Christian Men, a youth mentoring organization that counsels underprivileged teens. He has worked for years counseling those affected by illiteracy, drug addiction and those from impoverished backgrounds. He currently resides in Detroit, MI where he works as a mentor and activist. He is currently seeking publisher for his book, Black Excuses: Breaking the Cycle.
