Hakkımda

I am a theoretical physicist working in the field of solid state physics and materials science. My prime interest is in developing theoretical methods/software for materials simulations. As concerns applications, I am investigating new and complex materials as they are used, e.g., in sensors, recording media, battery systems, and photovoltaics. For more information please contact

While working in an academic environment (Universities, MPI Stuttgart) I am very much interested in industrial research. For this reason, I have many cooperations with researchers in industry (e.g. with OSRAM on luminescent compounds, with DuPont on insulating ferromagnets; all results published in renowned scientific journals). In general, I would like to push forward cooperation and exchange (personal, knowledge) between academia and industry.
