About me

Before Speed Invest and TheMerger Werner Zahnt, has been leading the mobile content business within VeriSign. He has more than 15 years of experience in the internet and the mobile content, application and messaging business.
 
After the acquisition of 3united and m-qube Werner has been put in charge of the global storefront business and managing the integration and consolidation efforts of the 3united, m-qube and VeriSign DCMS mobile content distribution products. For this effort he moved to the VeriSign headquarter in Mountain View, CA.
 
Werner brings along deep product knowledge paired with engineering know how and thorough financial expertise. He gained broad functional and process experience working in many different operational and executive roles.
 
During his studies of business administration and informatics at the University of Business Administration and Economics in Vienna Werner co-founded and was COO of sysis plc which merged with 2 other Austrian companies to become 3united. During his time at sysis he was also CEO of Sysis d.o.o., a Croatian software engineering subsidiary in Zagreb.
 
In 1999, Werner founded FUNDAQ, a subsidiary of sysis that pioneered the field of online social trading markets, and sold it after a year to Blue-C AG.
 
Within sysis and 3united Werner has managed to build up from scratch the a global mobile content distribution platform (CPS) and the global relationship to Ericsson and Napster, which led to one of the world wide most comprehensive global rollouts of mobile content services with more than 25 deployments in 3 continents.
