Security Activities
 From October 2011 till now consulting for pg40 in the area of Security Architectures and Enterprise Models (TOGAF, COBIT, 27K Series)
 From June 2010-July 2011 responsible for L2&L3 VPNs development as consultant for MicroNova (Vierkirchen Germany)  
 From March 2009 responsible for Infrastructure security , for Corporate Governance topics and change management topics at Wolfgang Haidegger Advanced Secure Communications. Research on Security models in connection with the Common Criteria, specifically for proving EAL 5-7, using the approach of Gurevich. Started FFG Research project ADLER, dealing with the development of a VPN-infrastructure for state schools in the Tyrol and possibly Carinthia. Teaching at Fachhochschule St. Pölten "Security in Distributed Systems".
 From May 2008 until the end of February 2009 responsible for Infrastructure security at Secude Global Consulting, as well as for Corporate Governance topics in Austria.
 Also beginning with April 2006 until March 2008 responsible for the coordination of all security issues within SIS PSE SMC CIM.
- Responsible for planning and developing automated certification procedures according to CC i.e. ISO/IEC 15408 (using EAL)

Database Design
 Systems Engineer for the product C-NTDB; responsible for the BO-Specification, the Requirements Specification and the Data Model Specification for HLR-d contributing to each document as part of the authors team as well as being the editor.
 From June 2005 – March 2006 head of the engineering support team for TMO in Bonn, and as such responsible for the TMO specific data model, which is currently being rolled out. Specifically important: First analysis of necessary Access Control, connections to Identity Management
 Responsible fort the standardization of the main ideas of a central profile store (CPS) within 3GPP and head of Sysrems Engineering C-NTDB in Vienna
 

Network Design
 Set up a test network with a WDM core network, 2 ATM core routers, MPLS/RSVP-TE Routers, DSLAMs, ADSL/SDSL Modems, as well as various Media Server in order to test performance properties of routing protocols BGP, OSPF, RSVP-TE, DiffServ in the test environment for a research project about performance management.
 Monitoring network with SNMP tools, specifically developed for the test lab (RFC implementation of IPPM for round-trip-delay) as well as specially designed optimization SW

 Development of a basic model for a TMN like management of heterogeneous voice/data networks
 Development of a Perfomance Management Model according to the general framework
 Indepth studies of IP-, TCP/IP-, and MPLS-Networks in various flavours (QoS, Routing)
