The DEVELOP project partners from the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England will be taking part in The 7th International Conference on Complex Networks and their Applications. The Complex Networks 2018 conference will be held from the 11th to the 13th of December in Cambridge, UK.

The DEVELOP project is researching how to apply privacy- and ethics-by-design to the development of the project's learning platform. Our objective is to make data privacy a key component of the learning environment, and to help balance the privacy interests of employees with the talent management desires of employers. The DEVELOP project (Developing Careers through Social Networks and Transversal Competencies) is an international research and innovation project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Programme. The main objective of the project is to deliver innovative methodologies and technologies to support career development and talent management in large companies. This will support career development professionals in efficiently matching employee potential and career goals with company strategies and business goals.
To implement the project, eight partners from different countries across Europe are collaborating closely: Trinity College Dublin (IRL), IBM Ireland Ltd (IRL), the Queen’s University Belfast (UK), Trilateral Research Limited (UK), IMC Information Communication Multimedia AG (DE), Tracoin Quality BV (NL), GITP BV (NL) and BNY Mellon Fund Services Limited (IRL).
