Dear Freelancers,

for our client we are in search of a JavaScript Engineer (m/f/d).

Project: building the best video streaming platform that users use on a daily basis. Overall responsibility of developing a high-quality product to satisfy our customers' needs and to continuously improve the engineering process and tooling. Currently working with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js

Project start: 14.02.22

Project duration: 3 MM

Workload: Full time

Location: Remote

Option of extension: Yes

Language: English

Requirements:

Knowledge in Javascript, its latest and greatest features and dialects

Knowledge in building performant and reliable web applications

Utilisation of unit and integration tests to ensure quality all the way to production

Good communication skills in English

ability to adapt with changing technology

Please note: need at least 12 months experience in SmartTV/OTT, especially for Samsung and LG devices.

Tasks:

Project experience on frontend applications using React, GraphQL and Typescript on Web

Contribute to shared component library that is consumed by multiple clients

Understanding the challenges and have experience of playback implementations for Samsung Tizen ( even better if using shaka ) and LG WebOS

Deliver a highly performant web application

Improve the product quality by taking ownership of our extensive test suite

Take charge of the open source efforts and give back to the community
