Some fake news regarding the performance of the future Boeing 787-10ER is being spread online in both written and video. There has been talks about increasing the range of the 787-10 by 1.100nm and from there people started to make up numbers and make comparisons that make no sense. I did make some calculations and included them in a clear sheet. Also non of the 787 and the A350 variants are exact competitors are their capacities differ. But we can easily calculate their performances: Fuel Consumption per km per seat.
