Nur für XING Mitglieder sichtbar Demand of North America Learning Management.
To get Customization Report
Although the U.S. dominated the North American learning management systems market in 2014, the learning management systems market in Canada is expected to grow considerably during the forecast period, 2014 to 2019. The cost reduction policy adopted by the organizations while imparting training to their employees along with technological advancements in the region are some of the factors driving the growth of the North American learning management systems market.

Nur für XING Mitglieder sichtbar "ICT for Environmental Regulation" workshop slides and audio
For those who are interested in the application of information and communications technology for environmental regulation, I have set up a website on this topic at <; and put the audio and slides from a workshop which I organised in June online at <;.
As you can see, the site is still in its early stages, with very little content. I hope that will improve with time, and that the site will develop into a portal to connect this research community. If this is a particular interest for you, you can register for an account and contribute content or discussions in order to help build this.
There is also a mailing list, which you can sign up to on the site or by sending an email to <>
Nur für XING Mitglieder sichtbar HABITATS - Social validation of the INSPIRE directive in the area of Biodiversity
For people interested in INSPIRE and metadata issues, especially in the field of biodiversity, a visit to the social platform of the HABITATS project could be of interest!
This platform provides a basis for a social validation process of the INSPIRE directive concerned with Annex III data themes 16-19 (Sea regions, Bio-geographical regions, Habitats & biotopes, Species distribution).
A number of pilot areas from different parts of Europe provide locals use cases for the discussion of different application areas.
According to the HABITATS user-driven approach to standardisation, the full impact of results will be sparked off by the pilot service scenarios and their ability to attract new participants to the communities of adoption. Each pilot is therefore built on a) existing concrete services currently carried out by project partners, b) potentials of data access through network services and c) enhancement through usage scenarios developed by user communities, in order to meet the three criteria criteria of relevance, openness and responsiveness.
The pilots fall into the three forward-looking categories described above as follows:
* Management of natural resources
o Wild Salmon Monitoring (IE)
o La Palma Protected Marine Area (ES)
* Eco-tourism
o Hiking Trip Planner (IT)
o Soria Natural Reserve (ES)
* Economic activities
o Sheep and Goat Herd Management (IT)
o Economical activity at marine coastal benthic habitats (LV)
* National policy
o Czech National Forest Programme (CZ)
Each of these validation pilots relies on trans-regional and trans-European data sharing between pilot settings, within INSPIRE networks present in the project and with collaborating members of the HABITATS User Communities.
International contributions and open discussion are welcome on this platform and support the local validation process. So take a look and perhaps you find interesting input to join the discussions!
