Fallstudie Stahlwerk
Ein europäisches Stahlwerk hat einen ölverschmutzten Keller mit einem Hochdruckreinigungssystem in das BIOSID eingespeist wurde gereinigt.
Das Reinigungsergebnis war ausgezeichnet. Hierüber existiert auch ein Video. Das Schmutzwasser aus dem Reinigungsprozess wurde aufgenommen.
Am Tag 1 war das Abwasser mit 3.520 ppm Kohlenwasserstoffen verschmutzt. Innerhalb 10 Tagen sank die Verschmutzung um 99.5% auf 15,2 ppm KW . Die Entsorgungskosten für die verschmutzte Lauge konnte dadurch erheblich reduziert werden.

All industrial pipes have at least the following things in common:
Scales, biofilms, fouling etc. are formed in the pipes, which decreases the performance of their function. Furthermore the need regular maintenance. Cleaning these, sometimes quite complex, structures requires specific knowledge.
The principle:
The cleaning process requires an injection point and an outlet point. At first, a defined section of the pipe network or industrial plant is separated from the rest of the plant by closing valves. Then water is pumped through this section slowly (via the injection and outlet points), resulting in a laminar flow. Then this flow of water is superposed by the addition of pulses of compressed air. This results in alternating packages of air and water, flowing through the section. The compressed packages of air are expanding and thereby accelerating the packages of water to velocities of 10 – 20 m/s.
The effect:
These highly accelerated packages are inducing strong turbulences and high forces of shear stress. This mobilizes and removes scales and impurities. In order to avoid damages, the maximum pressure is kept below the operational pressure of the plant.

Here is one small tip for carpet cleaning - Vine stain removal
1. Blot up as much of the spilled wine as possible.
2. Use plain water or mix one tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water.
3. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with plain water or the detergent/vinegar solution. Apply a little bit at a time, blotting frequently with a dry cloth until the stain disappears.
4. If using a detergent/vinegar solution, sponge with cold water and blot dry.
Worth a Try
If all else fails to remove the red wine stain (especially on a white carpet), mix one part hand dishwashing detergent with two parts hydrogen peroxide. Sponge on; blot off. Rinse well. Be sure to test first in an inconspicuous spot to make sure the solution doesn't harm the color of the carpet.
