Data Scientist (m/f) – in Munich
As a Junior Data Scientist you will work with stakeholders throughout the organization especially the project acquisition team to identify opportunities and questions to be solved. In the team you will have the opportunity to use innovative open source technologies as well as internal solutions. Furthermore, you interact with and adjust large datasets to generate practical insights for interior use cases and processes. Based on the available data you will not only identify interesting questions for the project team but also provide conclude relevant information as a conclusion. Using the data from the cloud platform and methods of artificial intelligence you will extensively be included in BMW's latest projects like the DriveNow mobility service. To push forward that project, you prove which areas in the city might be of interest.
What we expect of you (must haves)
• Successfully completed scientific or technical degree with focus on statistics or comparable degree
• Basic knowledge in software engineering and data analysis
• Fluent English language skills
What we expect of you (nice to haves)
• First experience in methods of agile software development like SCRUM
• Knowledge in version control systems like Git
