Continuous Integration Engineer (m/f) – Unterschleißheim (Bavaria/Germany)
Within a cloud-based CI/CD environment you will design and implement as a Continuous Integration Engineer the automated processes of software build, software testing, software integration and software releases for highly automated BMW vehicles and further innovative automotive software projects. You will write scripts and use build systems like Bazel and CMake to develop vehicle software. Using your knowledge from systems and software engineering, you will push forward state-of-the-art technologies like Zuul, Ansible, Docker and OpenStack and design a modern automation environment. Furthermore, you collaborate with the teams of embedded software developers to promote the vision of the central software scopes of the future.
What we expect of you (must-haves)
• Successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable studies
• Extensive experience in software engineering of large-scale software systems
• Profound knowledge in Python and/or C++
• Good knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery (in Zuul, Jenkins, Travis CI or
comparable) and software build systems like Bazel, CMake or comparable
• Fluent English skills and the motivation to learn German
What we expect of you (nice to have)
• First experience in embedded software and deployment technologies like Ansible
• Knowledge in dependency management and software quality environments like Teamscale or SonarCube
• Understanding of safety standards like ISO26262 or comparable

Softwareentwicklung trifft IT-Security
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung Inside VMRay öffnet VMRay zum ersten Mal seit der Unternehmensgründung in 2013 die Türen.
Neben spannenden Kurz-Vorträgen unserer Gründer Dr. Carsten Willems und Dr. Ralf Hund sowie unseres Product Managers Rohan Viegas, werden wir die Teilnehmer durch unser Bochumer Büro führen und Einblicke in unsere offene Firmenpolitik gewähren. Entdecken kann man nicht nur den beeindruckenden Ausblick über den Campus der Ruhr-Universität Bochum und das Lottental, sondern auch unseren Social Room. Mutige Besucher können unsere Profis zu einem Dart-Spiel herausfordern oder ihre Fingerfertigkeit an dem Arkade-Automaten beweisen.
Anschließend werden wir den Abend bei Snacks und Getränken ausklingen lassen.
Das Event richtet sich an Softwareentwickler – Interessierte aus anderen Bereichen sind aber ebenfalls herzlich eingeladen!
