Technical Sales Executive – South Germany
working initially from a Home Office and reporting to the Sales Director based in the UK to sell its full range of products into a wide variety of industrial sectors.
The company offers excellent and on-going training in the UK, a good basic salary plus an open-ended commission structure plus company car.
Experience in a technical sales B2B environment coupled with the ability and tenacity to source business opportunities and offer complete solutions to increase sales.
Good technical background.
Results driven with a “Hunter” mentality, commercially minded, maximising the sales effort with the ability and experience in meeting sales targets.
Strong communication and personal skills including influence and persuasion, resilience, commercial awareness and judgement, integrity and trust, innovation and leadership.
Disciplined, requiring minimal supervision and able to work remotely. Self-starter with good organisational skills.
The ideal candidate is good natured, resourceful and hardworking. They have an intense focus and entrepreneurial drive paired with the capacity to flourish in a competitive environment.
Native German speaker with good English skills.
Build up the sales region by identifying and qualifying prospective customers and penetrate targeted prospects in order generate revenue to achieve/exceed targets, including follow up on all leads.
You are the primary contact for potential customers in the region who are interested in the company product line. This will involve offering the customer a complete solution.
Arranging and making sales presentations and demonstrations at customer sites.
Present company capabilities and create a new business pipeline to meet agreed growth plans through accurate forecasting.
Develop and implement a business development plan to profitably grow the company’s business within the region taking full responsibility for sales figures (planning / forecasts / reporting).
Prepare and maintain a sales pipeline database, defining main opportunities, objectives and product resource requirements to support these.
Become a sales expert on all company products obtaining the necessary market and product knowledge to credibly support customer requests for technical product information
Respond in a timely manner to inquiries from prospects and customers
Manage and present at industry trade shows, sales seminars, webinars and technical workshops.
Cooperate with sales and commercial staff at the European HQ in the UK.
