Frank M. Rauch Concerning the rights of minorities in Pakistan - here are some news

Frank M. Rauch A dentist from USA shot famous lion Cecil in Africa with bow and arrow
Perhaps Mister Palmer prefers to live in the Stone Age? He paid 55.000 US-dollars for this adventure in Hwange National Park. "Conservation groups in Zimbabwe reacted angrily to the news that the 13-year-old animal had been killed: partly because the lion was known to visitors and seemingly enjoyed human contact, and partly because of the way in which he was killed. He was lured out of the national park and shot." Read more
Frank M. Rauch Fundamental discussion
Concerned by a recent discussion about the writer Günther Schwab, one of the founders of the "World Union for Protection of Life", I have bought the novel "Adventures on the River", published by Kremayr & Scheriau in Vienna, and I have read the book in the meantime. It is not just a novel (312 pages), but it also contains very impressive descriptions of adventures in nature. Much can be explained or deduced from his personal experiences as a forester. The book is written in the first person and contains almost no name or place. The only name is that of his dog. Based on the descriptions of landscapes as well as the mentioned species of animals and plants, the plot may be located in Central and Eastern Europe. The period of the story extends over several years. The end remains uncertain about the further life of the storytelling Ego: "I want to try something what can never succeed in the future: To be truly human."
